Far Eastern University Institute of Law (FEU-IL) or FEU Law is the college of law of Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.

Historical background

The Institute started operations in 1934 and is now one of the oldest law schools in the Philippines.[1]

The Institute has the unique distinction of having two Philippine Senate Presidents served as Dean--Jovito Salonga (1956-1963) and Neptali Gonzales (1976-1986).[1]

In 2003, the Institute teamed up with the De La Salle Graduate School of Business to offer the JD-MBA program, the first graduate dual program in law and business administration in the country.[2]

Facilities

The Institute is housed in the Law Building at Palaypay Conference Hall, with bar review rooms, academic Rooms, and a moot court. The JD-MBA holds classes in the fifth and twenty-fifth floors of RCBC Plaza in Makati City.[1]

The recent survey conducted by Commission on Higher Education shows that the FEU JD-MBA is ranked 4 and the Institute of Law ranked 11 of the top 20 Law School in the Philippines.
